Click on the 'Search Patient' link in the left menu as shown in the screenshot below to reach 'Patient Search' module :
What all can you do from patient search module ?

You can perform following actions using this interface (refer the item no. in the screenshot above for reference .)
- Search Patients

We will take you through each of these functionalities one by one .
How to search for patients in the patient search module?
By default if you dont search for anything then list will show all the patients of your clinic with latest one on the top . Just start typing name of the patient and patient records will automatically start showing filtered matching patients in the list below . For example in order to find patient 'Martin Crow', we started typing 'marti' and automatically it filtered the list will matching names like 'Martin Crow' / Martin etc in the screenshot below.
How to filter patients in patient search module ?
In the 'Patient Search' module, you can find filters on the right side of the screen as shown in the screenshot below :
In the right menu you can filter patients by :
1. Filter Patients :
a. Payment Due : This will filter and show only those patients who have some payment due in your clinic.
b. Upcoming Appointments : This will filter and show only those patients who have upcoming appointments in your clinic .
c. Cancelled Appointment : This will filter and show only those patients for whom appointment were cancelled .
2. Filter By Group : Using this filter you can click on any group to see only the patients who belong to that particular group . (In order to assign 'groups' to patients , please read 'How to add Patient Groups to a patient ' in our article on 'Patient EMR')
3. Filter By Alerts :
a. Patient Followup : This will filter and show only those payments with whom there is a followup appointment scheduled with your clinic .
b. Patient Birthday : This will filter and show only those records who have birthday today .
c. Patient Welcome : This will filter and show only those patient who were welcome patient sms .
What patient information can i view in each patient row ?
You can view following information in the patient row as shown in the screenshot below :
1. Patient Name
2. Patient ID
3. Patient Phone Number
4. Patient Email Id
5. Patient Age
6. Patient Groups
7. Last Appointment of the Patient
How to reach patient records / emr from 'Patient Search'?
You can siply click on the blue patient name link to reach patient records / EMR as shown in the screenshot below :
What actions can i take directly from patient search module ?
You can click on the 'Action' button present on the right side of patient row (as shown in the screenshot below) to take following action :
1. 'View' (View Patient Record)
2. Send SMS
3. Add Appointment
How do i add new patients from this interface ?
Just click on the green '+Add Patient' button present at top-right corner as shown in the screenshot below :
How users with different roles can access 'Search Patient' interface ?
Owners & Administrators of the clinic can see data (patient records) related to all the doctors of the clinic while visiting doctor / consultant can only see his own records in this interface .
