We will talk about 'Patient Case Sheet' in this article and how it helps doctors and clinic staff to complete all critical workflows within one single interface . We will cover following aspects of patient profile and patient case sheet in this tutorial :
A. Add new patient and update patient profile :
- Add new appointment
- Add Treatments & Generate bills & receipts
- Write Clinical Notes & Print/Email Clinical Notes to patients
- Write Prescription & Print/Email/SMS Prescription to patients
- Advise Labs Tests & Print/Email/SMS advised Lab Tests to patients
- Update lab reports for already advised lab tests
- Print/Email Prescription along with Clinical Notes & advised Lab Tests to patients

Lets deep dive into each of the above mentioned topics one by one .
A. Add new patient and update patient profile :
1. Add New Patient
Click on 'Add Patient' from the left menu as shown below :
Next fill basic details about the patient in the patient entry form : (PS : Only patient name is mandatory in this form )
Once you add patient detail and click 'Add New Patient' button at the bottom of the form, you will land on the patient profile .
2. Edit Patient Profile, Medical History & Vitals
Please refer to the screenshot along with numbers tagged below to understand how to update patient profile :

B. Manage Case Sheet
Now that we know how to add new patient, reach patient profile and edit patient profile, lets get started with understanding patient case sheet . We will go through all the actions that can be achieved through patient case sheet one by one below :
1. Add new appointment
As shown in the screenshot below in order to add any records ( like treatments, clinical notes , prescriptions, lab test etc ) , it is mandatory to first add an appointment for the patient and then add all the records against that appointment . Please click on the green '+Add Appointment' button to add an appointment, it will open a modal to add date/time, treatments and few more details about the patient.
PS : In the appointment modal , incase you dont have any treatment to be performed then simply add 'Consultation' as a treatment, this will ensure that billing can be done for atleast one service ie 'Consultation' against the patient visit .
Once appointment has been added it will open a case sheet against the patient as highlighted in red in the screenshot below :
PS : Once case sheet has been opened, you can simply start adding records by clicking on the 'Add/Edit Records' button as highlighted with red arrow in the screenshot above .
2. Add/Edit Treatments & Generate bills & receipts
In order to add/edit treatment plan , simply click on the 'Add/Edit Records' and then on the '+Add/Edit Treatments' menu as shown in the screenshot below :
This will open a modal with existing treatment, you can add/edit treatments along with dates and save the treatment plan .
Once you have added all your treatments, you can do following action against the treatments as shown in the screenshot below :
- Mark status of treatment as complete/incomplete.
- Add bill for specific treatment
- Add bill for all the treatments in one go
- View/Print/Email/Delete treatment plan

3. Write Clinical Notes & Print/Email Clinical Notes to patients
In order to add clinical note , simply click on the 'Add/Edit Records' and then click on the '+Add Clinical Note' menu as shown in the screenshot below :
This will open a clinical note modal , you can add details of the clinical note and click save as shown in the screenshot below .
Once you have added clinical notes, you can perform following action against recently added clinical note as shown in the screenshot below . Simply click on the 'Action' button to :
- View Clinical Note
- Edit Clinical Note
- Print Clinical Note
- Email Clinical Note

4. Write Prescription & Print/Email/SMS Prescription to patients
In order to write prescription , simply click on the 'Add/Edit Records' and then click on the '+Add Prescription' menu as shown in the screenshot below :
This will open an 'Add Prescription' modal , you can add drugs in the prescription and click 'Save' to add prescription as shown in the screenshot below .
Once you have added prescription, you can perform following action against recently added prescription as shown in the screenshot below . Simply click on the 'Action' button to :
- View Prescription
- Edit Prescription
- Print Prescription
- Email Prescription
- SMS Prescription

5. Advise Labs Tests & Print/Email/SMS advised Lab Tests to patients
In order to advise lab tests , simply click on the 'Add/Edit Records' and then click on the '+Add Lab Job' menu as shown in the screenshot below :
This will open an 'Add Lab Job' modal , you can add 'Lab Tests' or 'Lab Tasks' as shown in the screenshot below and then click 'Save' to add lab tests / lab jobs as shown in the screenshot below .
Once you have added Lab Job ( ie 'Lab Test or Lab Task') , you can perform following action against recently added 'Lab Test / Lab Task', as shown in the screenshot below . Simply click on the 'Action' button to :
- View Lab Tests
- Edit Lab Tests
- Print Lab Tests
- Email Lab Tests
- SMS Lab Tests

6. Update lab reports for already advised lab tests
7. Print/Email Prescription along with Clinical Notes & advised Lab Tests to patients
You can print prescription along with clinical notes as well advised lab tests by using the 'Action' button against prescription as shown in the screenshot below :
8. Print Case Sheet
In order to print complete case sheet, simply click on the print icon on top right of the case sheet as shown in the screenshot below :
9. Print Empty Pad
In order to print 'empty prescription pad', simply click on the 'Add/Edit Record' as shown in the screenshot below and then click on the 'Print Pad' option to print an empty pad for the specific casesheet :
