This is the third article (of the three part tutorial) on Inventory Management System . Here we will learn about billing inventory stock to customers and also understand how stock quantity gets consumed after billing in Healcon Practice software :

How to bill stock to customers ?
Step-1 : Go to 'Billing' interface and click on 'Add Bill' and proceed with billing items :
Step-2 : In the billing interface, look for the 'Add Inventory' drop down and then search and select the required inventory item which you want to bill as highlighted in the interface below :
Step-3 : Select quantity to bill along with discount , tax (will be auto populated) details as shown below complete the billing :
Step-4 : Once complete the bill will visible along with details in the billing interface as shown below :
IMP : Please note that quantity billed above will be automatically marked as consumed in the inventory .For example after billing of 2 quantities of 'examination gloves' above , if you go to the 'Inventory Catalogue' interface then it will show 100-2 = 98 as available stock as shown below :
How to check availability of any stock batch for an inventory item after billing ?
Step-1 : Go to 'Stock Purchase' interface of Inventory :
Step-2 : Search for particular 'Inventory Item' and then find availability as shown below ?:
How to check consumption details of a stock batch after billing ?
Step-1 : Go to 'Stock Purchase' interface of Inventory :
Step-2 : Search for particular 'Inventory Item' and then for a particular batch click on 'Action' drop down and select 'View Stock Consumption' :
Step-4 : Consumption details for that particular batch of the inventory item will be visible as shown below :
